I currently use the crystal retinal 6 but I am going abroad for 2 weeks. Will the travel size 3TR be ok to use in place of this and will it last me the whole 2 weeks?

Hi Karen, Vitamin A is completely safe to use on holiday, as long as you are applying a high-protection sunscreen every day. We'd recommend using your vitamin A serum at night, and re-applying an ample amount of sunscreen, like Advanced Day Ultimate Protect,during the day.

Does using crystal retinal and the intelligent retinol negate the effects of using each product together? I use both at the same time occasionally and have not adverse affects on my skin.

Hello Jo, Thank you for your question! Generally, we don’t recommend using two forms of Vitamin A in the same routine, as this can increase the risk of skin irritation. However, if your skin is tolerating it well and you haven’t experienced any adverse reactions, you may continue with your application. Hey! I switched from 3TR to 6TR few weeks ago, nd I have wondered the forest-like smell with the 6TR product. I couldn’t find the correct answer for this anywhere else. Is this normal or has this bottle gone bad or something. I have bought my product from somewhere else.

Please can you tell me what percentage of retinol is in each of your intelligent retinol products 3 to 10 as your list of ingredients just says retinol. Also is it retinol and not retinal? Thanks.

I am using The Crystal Retinal 20 that contains 0.2% Retinaldehyde. Is the Intelligent Retinol 3TR with 0.3% Retinol stronger?

Retinaldehyde, the star of Crystal Retinal and also found in r-Retinoate Intense, is one step closer to the bioavailable form of vitamin A, retinoic acid. It must undergo only one conversion to become active, and because of this it is 11x faster acting on the skin than retinol.
