"This is a new Medik8 product in my roatation. Medik8 has done it again with another strong performer. I have used it at night only so far and only a few times as I still have my retinal serum and Advanced Night Ceramide face cream to use. "First time user with any retinol products and I must say I'm really enjoying this product. I started off working with it every other night and am truly impressed by the results I'm receiving in such short amount of time. I've had the product for about 3 weeks now and the feel of my skin is softer, my melasma is fading, all while my fine lines are improving as well. I did try to move up to daily use but noticed my skin started to flake and dry out a bit. So I'm sticking with my every other night use for now."

"Retinoate Day & Night may seem expensive, but given that it’s a serum that contains Vitamins A, C and E, plus retinol reitonate, and you can use it day and night, it reduces the need for multiple products and simplifies your routine. But even better, it produces great results with no irritation on my increasingly sensitive skin. A real multitasking winner"

They make a great duo, as Hydr8 B5 will hydrate, and R Retinoate Day & Night will nourish, plump, even your skin tone and reduce the signs of ageing. We strongly recommend a sunscreen after application of your R Retinoate Day & Night, to protect your new skin!
What percent of vitamin C is in the serum? Is the retinal stronger than your highest Retinal serum?

What would happen if you were to use the Day & Night R-retinoate after the Crystal Retinal 20 at night? Would it be an even stronger version of the R-retinoate Night cream, because the Night version only has the equivalent of CR 6? Is there any chance of upgrading the Night version to have “ladders” of strength in a night cream like the individual CR serums do?
Hello Shirley, Using both R-Retinoate Day & Night and Crystal Retinal 20 together in the same nighttime routine is generally not recommended, as it can increase the risk of skin irritation. Both products contain potent forms of Vitamin A (retinoate and retinaldehyde), and using them together may overwhelm the skin, leading to redness, peeling, and sensitivity. For optimal results with minimal irritation, consider alternating these products. In regards to a stronger strength of Vitamin A I suggest trying our Crystal Retinal 10. Thanks Medik8 Team
